What is De-Fi?

Decentralized finance, also known as De-Fi, is a new and innovative way of conducting financial transactions using a special type of technology called blockchain. Instead of relying on traditional financial institutions, like banks, De-Fi allows people to interact with each other directly, in a decentralized and transparent way.

This new system includes different types of financial services, like lending and borrowing platforms, decentralized exchanges, and other financial instruments. The main idea behind De-Fi is to make finance more accessible and fair for everyone, while also cutting down on fees and wait times. It uses something called "smart contracts" to make transactions faster, cheaper, and more secure. In short, De-Fi is a new and exciting way of doing finance that is open to everyone, and offers many benefits over traditional finance!

What is the risks associated with your platform?

We’ve made sure that all of the risks associated with our platform has been mitigated. As an extra layer of protection, Poker Protocol will be creating an insurance fund to refund most if not all of our users’ investments in the case that something out of our reach of control destabilizes our platform.

How does the company profit from this? Is there a treasury being built?

The project takes a cut from total volume being staked. The project is building both a treasury and insurance fund to be used for the future of Poker Protocol. The treasury will be used for IRL events, sponsorships and developing new services for the Poker Protocol ecosystem.
